NAWBO Time: NAWBO member receive this newsletter to
keep informed on national policy changes, NAWBO events and
activities, member benefits, council actions, information
about corporate partners, and other news.
Procurement: NAWBO is forging an alliance with America's
government and corporations to increase procurement opportunities
for women business enterprises (WBEs). These arrangements
are with corporate partners, government agencies, and women
business certification groups, such as Women Business Owners'
Corporation and the Women's Business Development Center.
SIGs: Special Interest Groups (SIGs) offer a fast
track for members to communicate, collaborate, and network
in areas of particular value to them, such as international
trade, health care, and travel. Contact National HQ for

Disaster Relief Fund: This fund may provide limited
financial relief when a member's business is damaged or
destroyed by natural disasters, such as hurricanes, floods,
or earthquakes.
Angel Network: This program links successful women
business owners who want to mentor and invest with NAWBO
members needing capital and advice.
Special Advertising Opportunities: NAWBO members
can advertise their companies in the nationwide NAWBO directory,
Enterprising Women magazine, NAWBO Time and other media.
Community Service Opportunities at a Professional Level:
Expand your skills while providing a valuable service. Become
an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers
Regulation, Inc. (NASDR). Panels of three arbitrators hear
and decide securities cases involving brokers and public customers.
Securities experience is not necessary to apply. Training
is provided and an honorarium is paid for each case. Opportunities
