NAWBO California was created as the "senate" of all nine (9) chapters, whose volunteer board members convene quarterly to share knowledge, build business relationships and form lasting partnerships with corporations and governmental entities. We are part of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), a nationwide women's business organization with 80 chapters throughout the United States and an affiliation with Les Femmes Chefs d'Entreprises Mondiales (World Association of Women Entrepreneurs) in 33 countries.
NAWBO California helps chapters share "best practices" of chapter management, develop unified corporate partnerships for all, and benefit from one statewide public relations campaign to reach women and minority women business-owners. NAWBO California holds three Annual Board Meetings -November, March and August.
Each chapter within California consists of dynamic women business owners forging alliances and breaking boundaries to build better businesses by:
- linking growing businesses with the global economy
- sharing resources, skills and experience
- providing a single voice to shape economic and public policy.
The nine chapters in California are located in the major metropolitan areas throughout the state: Desert Cities, Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Ventura County. To visit the California chapters see our Local Chapters page.
